This is one version of my slightly sick pollution joke for the New Year. Though it's a two-block woodcut, I'm calling it a monoprint because I've printed it in several different colors and on different papers, including one on an icky yellowish-green color that I just delivered for the "Prints of the Year: What's New in New Hampshire Printmaking" show (reception Feb 8 in Concord). Have a happy and less-polluted new year!

Hello, Just came across your site while googling woodcuts of new hampshire. Can you tell me anything more about the event you mention on Feb 8? Thanks
Hi, "Rose in NH." The "Prints of the Year: What's Happening in NH Printmaking" show should be up now through March 28th at the Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord. This is the seventh year for the exhibition. The artists' reception is on Feb 8, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the center. Some of the printmakers will have portfolios of their work in addition to the works that are hanging. I plan to be there; if you come, introduce yourself if you like.
Thanks
Barbara
P.S. I sent this to you by return e-mail, but it failed to deliver, so here it is on the blog.
Thanks!! I'll definitely check out the show, but maybe not on the 8th. I love your Black Cat and barn by the way!
Thanks, Rose.....
